Career Tip of the Day

Have you ever tried to untangle a really snarled up pile of string? The more you pull at it the tighter the knots become. That’s exactly what happens when you start trying to solve your own problems. You can work like crazy and get absolutely nowhere. You can do everything to land a good job and still fail to get the offer. Hear this word. “It’s useless to work so hard and so anxiously.” The solution is simple — turn the whole thing over to God and receive His rest in return. Why waste another night fretting about something over which you have no control? When you get tangled up in your problems, be still. God wants you to let go so He can untangle the knots.
WORDS OF LIFE:
- I put my trust in the Master builder. He will help me to build the house of my dreams if I will follow His lead.
- By faith I receive direction from the Lord for every question I have and everything I undertake to do.
- I receive rest from the Lord as He makes my path clear.
Word of the Day
Unless the LORD builds a house the work of the builders is wasted. Unless the LORD protects a city, guarding it with sentries will do no good. It is useless for you to work so hard from early morning until late at night, anxiously working for food to eat; for God gives rest to his loved ones. (NLT)
