Training
Look at the process to “let God transform you.” First God changes the way you think and then God transforms you as the result of your new way of thinking. Notice who’s doing everything — God. Notice too that He accomplishes this transformation first in your heart and mind. Many believers have this backwards. They keep trying to change their behaviors and habits so they can be like Jesus. Unfortunately, that never works. This scripture tells us that God has a good, pleasing and perfect plan for each of us and the only way to know it is by changing the way we think. How do you do that? By diving into His Word and staying there until all your thoughts line up with His.
WORDS OF LIFE:
- I am determined to think only thoughts that line up with God’s Word.
- By faith I rebuke the enemy and refuse to accept his lies any more.
- God’s will for me is perfect and I am trusting in Him to transform me and lead me into it.
